A Note to WGCIT Residents Regarding COVID19

Good Morning WGCIT Community!
In response to COVID-19 outbreaks and government guidance, Western Growers as an organization has moved as many employees as possible to “work from home.”
Western Growers has always emphasized a “family first” mantra. This is a precautionary measure to keep everyone and their families healthy and safe.
In this time of uncertainty, please note:
- I will be working from home as much as possible, but I plan to come in to the Center to check the mail, restock the coffee bar, maintain the printer, and check on the conference room.
- WGCIT companies can still access the Taylor Building, and the Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology, with your Sonitrol Key Cards.
- You can still utilize the Center as needed, however please follow CDC recommendations for self care: use the wipes on your desk space, avoid touching your face, wash your hands, and use the Purell hand sanitizer installed by the front door.
- Dennis and I are local, and want to stay involved with each of you. Please reach out to schedule “check in” phone calls and virtual meetings with either one/both of us at your earliest convenience. We hope to make these a regular occurrence until the need for social distancing passes.
It is at times like this that we are reminded of how special a place the WGCIT is! The value of the Center is beyond these walls…but more importantly we value YOU, our residents! We want to use this time to get caught up with each of you, and discuss what you need next. We can set up virtual meetings with local growers and processors, who are also working from home (and their fields) at this unprecedented time.
Looking forward to connecting. Stay safe!
