TracMap “set up shop in America” less than four months ago, inside the Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology. TracMap, the job management system for sprayers and harvesters, had their New Zealand-based Chairman out in California for a study tour around customers recently. While he was here he also participated in installing a TracMap system for yield capture on an Almond harvester. Here is the video of them using people to test it was working ok. He also got up close to a TracMap equipped D11 dozer deep ripping for Cherry trees. And, photographed above, he had a chance to catch up with the TracMap staff in a planning meeting in Salinas, California with the entire US TracMap team.
Meanwhile, in Australia, TracMap use continues to expand. Read here about how a large tomato grower is using TracMap to logistics planning and traceability for their harvesting.
