Farming Without the Weeds

Nexus Robotics has designed and built a robot that accurately extracts the root of weeds near the crop.

The robot uses three arms and a computer vision system to differentiate between crops and weeds before pulling the weeds out of the ground. Soon the robot will also have the capability to inform the farmer of info such as crop health, soil moisture and yield estimates.
